... @nGord maybe this is the first time she know about SBS, isnt it @Divya ? your 3 stars rating is already good, why raise it back to 5?
... @Divya but hundreds of people who make bigger levels will be also sad if tiny level like this got 5 stars.
@Divya - I doubt it (that the member would be sad). Besides, that is not a good explanation in my opinion. It also doesn't justify the rating. Nor does it follow forum rules: https://mekoramaforum.com/threads/system-notices-the-yellow-rules-and-tips.607/#post-4414 It would be much better, considerate, and useful if you explain what you like about the level so much. Help the creator know what was "great" and perhaps also what could be improved. I'm sure the member would appreciate honesty and some tangible feedback than just the word "great". That word is also redundant as it is the very definition of 5-stars.
@Divya and others - here is a thread that some members contributed to that can help with justifying a 5-star rating: https://mekoramaforum.com/threads/what-makes-a-perfect-5-star-level.206/ And here is a thread that discusses why justification is important: https://mekoramaforum.com/threads/how-can-we-save-the-rating-system.383/ Again, there is nothing wrong with awarding this level with 5-stars if that is how you feel about it. It is simply requested that you also tell other players, the creator, and potentially other creators, why you believe in your rating. What makes it stand out compared to average levels? How did the level make you feel? What did you find special about it? What aspects would you like to see again? What in particular do you want the creator to know that you appreciated? Was there something about the gameplay, mechanism engineering, prettiness of design, surprise factor, adventure, difficulty, creativity, theme, storyline, attention to detail, complexity, simplicity, etc. that was noteworthy?
@Divya - "likes" are a form of appreciation / acknowledgement. Stars are used for comparison. Comments are are best used for feedback / constructive input. Likes on card uploads can substitute for stars especially if you don't know how many stars to give, you don't want to explain your rating, and/or you just want the creator to know that you noticed or appreciated their upload.
