I found getting a clean bounce (which could be classified as a trick) very tedious as B would brush the half pillar and deflect away from the sword. The deflection would cause B to not land on the grass block to the ball nor on the sword. Turns out if you do get on the sword, move to the end and slow rotate B to the other side so no ball needed. Using the ball is easier.
@Meko Guy I`m not sure if motor tosses are considered a trick. I could argue it's just a natural behavior of B not "sticking" to motor blocks ... or just as easily make a case that it's a bug exploit.
The slow rotation move is possible because the red brick acts as a bridge to the sword motor. You decide for yourself if you want an alternative solution to this card or not. The sword move tho is surprisingly fun!
@Meko Guy Spoiler If you point the blade of the sword up before making the toss, B doesn`t bounce off and can land on the blade more easily.
Here's another shortcut - no motor toss required. After getting on the sword, one can slow rotate or get the ball. Spoiler: Shortcut
I found few tricks. Spoiler: Tricks I've Found Autopilot BB Cancel Makes the level easier. That was fun. I like it. Thanks for sharing sir.
Got it quickly - even the motor toss, which I'm usually not good at, went smoothly Spoiler with the sword pointing straight up, toss B as high as you can and rotate the sword counterclockwise... B 'bounces' off the tip and lands on the grass at the bottom of the stairs leading up to the ball . You can guess, of course, which move I Bullwinkled, causing a restart... (Yeah, restart and not recovery stairs)
I didn't realize it was a shortcut, but I did it pretty much as in @Meko Guy s video. Very enjoyable, anyway poking B around with the gladius, . I found it slightly awkward only being able to grab the sword so near its centre, not so easy to control it.
