I have won and i see that i have also used the crucial step as posted by @Ray Aznable . But our gameplay must be different as i have not used three of the balls.
Edit. I now read that @Ray Aznable said that too. Suspect we have a shortcut.

I thought this video showed the longer designed route but i am unable to get R to step onto the lowest ball. It does look as if some combination in this section works.
