an auto pilot to get B up to the 2nd level, low ceiling to get around to the other side (higher lift) and another low ceiling to pass the stairs to the 3rd level.

I can understand why the title, even if it isn't a ladder. Quick and easy, pretty much intuitive, minimal herding and a compact design (horizontally, at least). The rail does hide the draggable a little, but I can understand why it's there.

I like this type of puzzles very much: not too easy and not too complex.
