This demonstration level has every bot-on-ball trick that I'm aware of. In order of occurence in the level. Ball Rider. Note: The ball can traverse blocks that B-Bot can't walk on. First used in my Monorail Escape level (the rail even makes a bend). Bot-on-ball Lift. From @richardfu's Bouncing level. Bot-on-ball Drop. Bot-on-ball Seesaw: I first used this in The Sacrifice. Bot-on-ball draggable joystick: I first used this on B-Bot8. Very rough, but it works. Make sure the ball is on the far end before stepping off. @meko used this mechanism to good effect in his Ball Control level. Ball-Ramp-Lift: From my Black Sheep level. Yes, I've done a lot of bot-on-ball levels.
I'm having trouble with the first part because of the no-step slider glitch. I have to move the slider 1 block forward before I can ride the ball. Then I can't seem to travel to the other side; the ball slowly moves to the side and falls off before reaching the end.
There's something really nice about the balls as they are so mobile and multi-purpose, you can pretty much design any mechanism as long as you can imagine it. @Frenzies I also encountered the No-step slider problem. I think it's why he made the slider rail longer. As for the ball leaving the rail I think it actually requires a really gentle push -- I did it in my first try
@cpw Thanks. Nice demo! My favorite part was the Ball-Ramp-Lift. It seemed a little like an escalator. I liked how you put a lot of ball tricks into one demo level.
That's wonderful! Why did you call it a demo? Even if you're demonstrating a lot about ball behavior, I thought first it is not intended to be an interesting game. But it's a fully playable and enjoyable level! Great work!
Great compilation of ball tricks, it would be quite helpful for new people to join in the level building.
Great level. Nice as well as instructive. Congratulations, I had a lot of fun playing. Too bad the last step can be done simply by throwing the balls over the goal.

@retrograde Hi Retrograde! I'm having a problem seeing the tricks demonstrated in this level. Is there a solution video or instructions anywhere explaining the intended path? In 3 of 5 tries, I tossed a ball unintentionally on the win. Can't get past this. I know there are tricks I'd like to learn here, can you help me out? Thanks!
