Hello I think I found a bug. Level is posted here: http://mekoramaforum.com/media/mekorama-impact-bug.3635/ On my machine (Cat S40, Android 5 and also confirmed by nGord user on His Google/LG Nexus 5 with Android 6.0.1) rapidly hitting the moving block, solves the puzzle. Looks like some "impact wave" happens on red-target block and it turns green. It happens also in different blocks' configurations and different blocks' types as well, but this one is the most often. 2-3 hits "solves" the puzzle. Can anybody confirm?
Like you say, it happens with different block configurations. What I found is that it can happen as long as there is a block (of any type I think) at the end of the slider. There is no need for that block to be connected to the win block in any way. Removing all but the metal coloured blocks (draggable, slider, rail, win) no longer allows it to work.
The first time I came across the win block triggering by itself was in @ZachMan 's Surfing? level. It also has moving metal blocks two block heights above the win. Although, I am currently not able to reproduce the self-triggering.
Nice observation! It can reproduce it as well. Then, besides of comments under the levet's media file, I personally think it is 100% bug.
Guys...pardon me if I am wrong.....but I think this bug is not due to the impact but due to the vibrations that are produced in the draggable...in fact the flag button can be pressed not only by a bot standing on it but if any movable block is brought upto a height of 1 block above it(in case of @zolv 's level the vibrations make the draggable come to the desired height)....I tried quite a lot of combinations to check this theory and every time it has proved to be correct....and yes this excludes the hands and legs of a bot and sliders facing the flag button....even if they are at the desired height...
I made a copy of your level and 3 times out of 5 I solved the puzzle. If it moves the draggable very slowly, there is no bug. I tried to remove the highest block of stone and the bug is gone !!
If you don't mind I have got an explanation for your observations..... 1)if the slider is moved slowly then it doesnot vibrate and that excludes the possibility of a bug 2)the same goes for "removing the higher/resistance block" as in the absence of a resistance....the movable block system wont vibrate and would move freely...this too eliminates the poaaibility of a bug
Yes, I think that's how it works. I made a level before that automatically solved itself, but I think it was because of those vibrations, so I didn't bother to post it
This is an example of the said bug I've been experimenting with the said bug & it seems that a forced motion 1 block away from the win block would trigger a win, either it is by a slider or a spinning mechanism, as long as there's instability the win block would be triggered.
WOOOWWW!....I think when a movable object is forced to pass through an immovable object it vibrates(invisible to the naked eye)....and these minute vibrations are responsible for the pressing of the flag button.....guys if you disagree with me please post a reply
I agree with you, I think that when those movable objects vibrate they seem to touch the hit box above the winning block triggering a win. In other words as long as the hit box above the win block is touched a win is triggered.
